How It Works

We came here because something opened.

For some of us it happened in recovery. For others it happened through therapy, trauma work, spirituality, psychedelic medicine, plant medicine, or simply reaching a point where the life we were living could no longer continue.

Whatever brought us here, we discovered that insight alone was not enough.

We still had to return home. We still had relationships to repair, habits to change, fears to face, responsibilities to meet, and lives to build.

We believe recovery can take many forms and that no person in this room has the authority to define another person’s path.

We honor the recovery traditions that helped many of us survive while remaining open to new ways of understanding healing.

We do not promote psychedelic medicine or suggest that it is appropriate for everyone.

We share our own experiences. We listen without judgment. We remain curious. We practice honesty.

The experience is not the destination.

The medicine may open the door.
We still have to walk through it.
